Landscape Design/Installation

Gulfside landscaping has two landscape designers on staff. Our designers can provide you with anything from a small patio garden design, or maybe a butterfly garden to watch from the window at the breakfast nook or a back yard garden with pavers, retaining walls, water features. Our imagination is your only limitation.

When you call the Gulfside Landscaping office, your information will be taken, and the designer will call back to schedule an appointment with you, and discuss your design options.

Gulfside Landscaping can install any landscape project. Our landscape crews provide the highest level of quality installation of any landscape company on the gulf coast. You will know our crews while on your property by the uniforms with the name badge with the Gulfside Logo.

For Your protection, Gulfside Landscaping carries general liability insurance and workers compensation for all employees while installing your project.

Sprinklers/Irrigation

Gulfside Landscaping provides quality sprinkler system design and Installation. The foundation for any landscape or grassy area (turf) is the proper amount and coverage of water. Without the regular amount of water to your grass or landscape plants and trees, no landscape will live. The difference between Gulfside Landscaping and the “sprinkler companies” is that we understand the water requirement of your plants and grass. One type of sprinkler head does not work everywhere in your yard.

In the state of Florida an irrigation company must have an irrigation sprinkler license. This license requires a tremendous amount of study and proficiency in the irrigation / sprinkler.

Gulfside Landscaping also provides service and repair to existing systems.

Don’t let just anyone install or service a system. Irrigation / sprinkler systems are tied to our community water supply, whether it is on your city water meter or on your well. An improperly installed system can possibly have a negative impact on our water supply.

Landscape Lighting

Landscape lighting brings the daytime beauty of your landscape into the night. Landscape lighting can used to accent the walls of your home as well as the beautiful flowering landscape, so the beauty can viewed not only during the day but also at night.

Landscape lighting provides your party guests the view with an outdoor space not only is the interior of your home an entertainment area, but now your guests can move into the back yard and enjoy the landscape.

Gulfside Landscaping can provide a design and installation of landscape lighting for your home.

The fixtures are all low voltage; therefore the amount of electricity used will be minimal compared to 110 volt landscape lighting.

Drainage Design/Installation

Many home sites and commercial buildings have unforeseen drainage issues. Gulfside Landscaping can install a simple French drain for your home, or an entire drain system for your commercial building.

Putting Greens

Synthetic putting greens are fantastic. They provide the family with hours of fun or the amateur golfer with hours of hassle free practice. Our Sand filled putting greens allow you to chip the ball to the green with a realistic bounce to the ball. The putting green is completely artificial! This means no mowing, no fertilization, no weed control, no insects or watering problems.

We can design a putting green as large or as small as you would like to have.

Retaining Walls/Pavers

Gulfside Landscaping designs and installs retaining walls made of concrete block. These walls are dry laid, which means no mortar. These walls last much longer than walls made of wood. Our block walls have been engineered by the manufacturer.

Pavers can add so much beauty to the landscape by creating a meandering walkway or backyard patio, or you can replace that old broken, boring concrete driveway with beautiful new paver driveway.

Unlike other landscape companies that simply sweep sand over the top of your paver system, we utilized a polymeric sand that minimizes weed growth, ant mounding, and erosion of the sand on top of the pavers. The polymeric sand we use actually bonds to the pavers and hardens.

Sealant is also available. If you like the “wet look” of the pavers, then you would want to seal them. Sealing also helps retard staining of the pavers as well as the aging look of the pavers.

Lawn Maintenance

Our lawn maintenance services are more geared to landscape management services.
Our service agreements are based on 12 months of service. We can include everything for your commercial property or home in this agreement.

Our service agreement is as follows:
April through October the service will be completed every week. November through March your service will be completed every other week.

The service includes:

• Mowing
• Edging
• String Trimming
• Air Cleaning
• Landscape Bed
• Weed Spraying
• Shrub Trimming

Additional Services:

• Pine Straw and or Mulch
• Seasonal Flower Installation

In the state of Florida, an applicator must be licensed to spray Herbicide (glycophosphate) in the landscape beds. All of the lawn maintenance crews retain this certification.

Our rates are based on an annual contract giving you an affordable, monthly bill that’s easy to manage.

All of our employees are in uniform while servicing the property. No trunk slammers here. Our crews have clean vehicles and uniformed employees while on your property.
